The SentiGrade analyzes sentiments for a particular company primarily based on four different aspects:
Market News
Market news including stock trends, analyst reviews, and forecasts helps gauge investor sentiment and market perception.
Financials
Earning Reports giving detailed quarterly trends for a company help us dive deep into the sentiments behind the periodic changes to the fundamentals and quantitative metrics.
Management
Management’s views on particular events, announcements, and analysts’ questions. Assess management’s future outlook, earnings guidance, and situations that are imperative to understand the internal sentiment of the company.
Corporate News
The corporate actions, credit events, and important news related to the company including mergers, credit ratings changes, debt issuance/redemption, management changes.The reactions of the community to these events will express sentiments about the company.
Features
Individual Sentiment of a company
This feature assesses the sentiment of a company based on the four aspects mentioned earlier. The sentiment is measured through a cumulative score, taking into consideration the weighted impact of each aspect.
The scores ranges from -1 to 1 with:
a) -1 depicting extremely negative views about the company.
b) 0 depicting a neutral sentiment.
c) 1 depicting a highly positive score for the company.
